You can view as you want, but you cant change the historical truth that South Carolina seceeded because they wanted slaves.

To the average Southern hero, the slaves were mostly little black specs in far off fields. 99% of farms had no slaves. Making out that the civil war was about slavery would be like saying debating you would be about debating an intelligent adversary.
