We have a few acres and when someone else's cat gets in our yard the pellet gun comes out and the cat goes in the garbage can.

What a stud! Maybe you could shoot the cat in front of the little girl trying to find her pet.

People who think they are bad-asses because they abuse animals are something else.

I'm not a bad ass at all. I keep my dogs at home and not on others property. We have quail and the cats feast on them. It's a not hard to figure out. When I tell people to keep their cats off my property they don't pay any attention. I've actually had neighbors tell me that it was completely legal for their cats to use my property. I just dispose of the problem.
For some reason cat people seem to think that they have a right to thrust their cats on to other people and that everyone just has to put up with them. BS.
That isn't the case around here. If you like cats that is fine. Keep them at home where they belong.
