I had to laff.
We went to a chinese restaurant once, and a friend had tendonitis. The old Chinese woman assured her she could fix it up.
Well she wrapped it in noodles and ginger and various spices and sent her home with the warning:
“Dont let you dog in the bed! You gonna wake up and the medicine gonna be gone!”

At another Chinese Buffet, My friend marveled at a delicious stir fry labeled “chicken, vegetable”
He called over the proprietor, an ol gal named “toy” and asked whats in this?
She loudly admonished: “What? you cant read?!! Chicken!!, Vegetable!!”

Agreed, but way too many cat owners feel that their felines are exempt from licensing, leashes or outside control. Instead, they let little Fluffy run loose at night to kill songbirds and small mammals for thrills and crap in your rose beds. As far as I’m concerned, ANY cat on the loose is a feral cat and should be treated as any other predator.

Isn't spitting on someone considered assault?
This idiot woman needs to learn a bit about animals - they can't read and don't realize cars go fast and hurt if they hit you...keep your damn cats out of the road you dumbass

We have a few acres and when someone else's cat gets in our yard the pellet gun comes out and the cat goes in the garbage can. What a stud! Maybe you could shoot the cat in front of the little girl trying to find her pet.
People who think they are bad-asses because they abuse animals are something else.

Seems that a lot of people are missing that the cat was hit in a bike lane and it could easily have been a kid.
And there are people doing 65 in a 35 zone where there are children.
This time it was a woman's cat. Next time a kid?

And if the kid is in the road and oblivious it will increase the likelihood. Or perhaps if the adult in the auto is on the road and oblivious.
Maybe we need more laws? /s

I wonder how many people have been killed or hurt when some wishy washy animal person swerves to miss a squirrel and loses control?

I got really slammed by cat freaks about a feral cat
thread when I suggested a new sport.
Take your rod and reel put on a weedless triple hook
lure and cast out across a field of weeds because a
3 pound feral cat puts up a better fight than an 8
pound bass.

Not my cup of tea, but, hey, if you’ve got a license for it - knock yerself out. By the way, unlicensed cats are not protected by season laws . . .

A person that does not keep their animals under personal control 24/7 is a bad animal owner and a worse neighbor.
Not certain about the neighbor part but I agree with the animal control. That being said, I'll take her as a neighbor over the potential murderers who choose to speed thru her residential area any day......
