Ugh....while I realize that “the greatest guitar player ever “ is relative....Malmsh*t is techno with no feel in my book.Could never stand him.

I agree. It's the sound that matters, not how fast a guy can play.

Besides, Keith Richards deserves some kind of award just for still being alive.

You should check out the Stones 1973, at the Foret Nationale in Belguim. Mick Taylot owned the stage... Perhaps the best the Stones ever were. I agree with Jeff Beck, he should be on the list and current day Joe Bonamassa. Then again Roy Buchannan, the world's best unknown guitarist should be on the list.
