I can't find the original citation: "Cola-induced hypokalaemia: pathophysiological mechanisms and clinical implications."
I have one of the big 32oz insulated bubba mugs at work that I fill with ice and top off w/ diet dr pepper.........that soda is so diluted with ice I am drinking maybe half a can of soda at best. Refill it maybe three times a 12 hr work day......home choice of drink is ice water or sun tea, home brew beer etc .....
Reminds me of the comedian that said he could drink 30 weight oil and piss glacier water his kidneys were so good !
Is this lung paralysis issue common or rare ??
IMHO, rare, it's a particular manifestation of weakness with low potassium. Maybe there's another defect involving the diaphragm or phrenic nerve.
Phrenic Nerve.....in the 4th or 5th vertebrae ? Hmmmmmm bad back can be cause of this as well then if it’s damaged or pinched ????
Here is a cool pic BTW if ya haven’t seen it !!

Why are they picking on Soda? Coffee and Tea would do the same.
Have you tried Throwback Pepsi or Throwback Mountain Dew ??
Wow !! Made w/ sugar instead of corn syrup . You can really taste the difference.
Nice and clean flavor, no aftertaste.
