The aliens heard Zero was having trouble printing enough money to recover the economy so they decided to help and were making a delivery of a couple trillion in funny money. Just in time, too. He needs to gas up his ride and the gummint is broke.

Anyone pointing a camera, especially a cell phone camera, directly at the sun would probably have a very overexposed photo. I don’t see how this shot is even possible.

I live on Kent's east hill I didn't notice anything. My 7-year old was thrilled with the halo though. Kept on having to warn him about looking up at the sun. Me, I was just thrilled to see the sun, dot or no dot.
As for this photo - was it taken because of the black dot, or was it taken because of the halo and the dot noticed later?

Looks like someone is looking at us.

It's an artifact from the camera's aperture mechanism.

what a damn crock. 2 hours or so and all they can find is a cell phone camera to photograph this ‘thing’? no video from a good camera? how about the local news in those 2 hours, where were they? 2 hours huh, every freakin’ camera anywhere near this area would have been aimed at this by the time 2 hours were elapsed.
