I think you are talking to someone who lives in Chicago.

Frankly, the Illinois 5th district is so infested with mad leftwing bombers, Commies, and reprobates, we probably can't ever win with a Republican there.

On the other hand if we could find a lifelong Democrat with a burning, visceral hatred for the Machine Democrats up there, we could run her as a Republican just for the purpose of organizing the House.

Patricia Blagojevich (Blago's wife) or Rita Rezko (Tony Rezko's wife) would be perfect. Both are members of a minority even smaller than the blacks and hispanics (Romany), they're both better looking than the typical Democrat that runs in that district, and by now their hatred for the Democrats has to be seathing hot.

My kind of RINOs to run in a RINO favorable district.

Now, about the Hispanic person who wants to run in that district ~ all I can suggest is move to another district one ~ this one has just been POWND by the Gypsies (if they want it).

Illinois District 5 did have a Republican (Mike Flanagan) from 1995 to 1997, who unseated 18-term incumbent Dan Rostenkowski with 54% of the vote. However, he was probably target numero uno by Dems in the 1996 election, having been narrowly elected in a staunchly Dem district. He was soundly defeated by Blago in that election, only getting 36% of the vote.

That’s 5th, as in Rahm’s old district?
