WTF? If there were tourists around then yes, but otherwise wheres the bloody harm in wizzing on the ground?? Give me a break.
Actually, when I was there, there were signs all around every geyser and hot spring saying that even the smallest pollutant could wreck the geyser over time (although I think they were talking about solid pollutants). Whether that is true or not, how do you get millions of tourists to obey these signs if your own employees won't?
