For those who care: Just a reminder, in case you've let it slip your mind.
Tonight is the 'Bones' season finale, in which we'll see the return of the character "Zack Addy".
I'm hoping it's going to be a good one.
This is also supposed to be the episode where Bones and Booth hit the sheets.
What do you want to bet it all winds up being a hallucination/dream in Booth’s mind as he undergoes surgery for his brain tumor? Remember, at the end of the last episode, he was being wheeled into the operating room.
Its already been leaked, apparently they are going to kill off the David Boreanaz character to write him out of the script just at the apex of his revealing his feelings for Bones. His replacement next season is supposed to be Charlie Sheen as a government bureaucrat/accountant type.
You’re yanking my chain! :oD
Almost believable, but *not* with Sheen as his replacement.
that’s exactly what I thought.
How are they already discussing the finale on the IMDB message board? It has apprently already aired somewhere.
Mrs. F., an otherwise intelligent woman, loves this dumba55 show.
I don’t know about all of you, but I think Denis Leary should run for President. He’s the only one with the guts to run with 9/11 as the main part of the story this season. No one in modern media can claim this.
Ok...I’l admit you may not be yanking my chain, but it just makes *jno* sense that they would replace him. he’s great leading male, and replacing him with a Sheen type character would be just stupid, and would damage their product..Their bread and butter. I doubt I’d watch the show any more.
They did in Buffy, killed him off too, but because he was a vampire, he lived to have a spin-off show. :->
I watch it with the kids just so I can point out the bias, shallow thinking, idiotic ideas and how fiction can be used to push a world view.
The kids find the interaction of Booth and "Bones" to be pretty amusing. They do have some funny moments...which is the gold lamé on the t*rd that is this show.
I just watched it on megavideo.
It doesn't bother me so much that Bones professes that she is an atheist. She grew up in strange circumstances, moving from foster home to foster home. No one ever taught her about God. As a highly educated person with a high IQ, you can see how she would wind up that way that she is. There are some teachable moments between her and Booth that Booth takes advantage of. It definitley bothers me that Angela has had recent a relationship with another woman, and that she goes on and on about her constant need for sex with anyone and everyone.
I used to be a big fan.
First few shows this season had Angela a little too free spirit for me.
Haven’t watched an episode since.
Now lets talk ‘Fringe’.
True, she had a screwed up childhood.
True, she has a high IQ.
Not true, (but sold as the "smart" thing to think) if you are smart and well educated then you are an atheist.
Also, the Booth character is likable but ultimately a knuckle dragger. Nice guy, but not too bright.
In another episode a murder at a research center (think tank) introduced us to some super smart scientists. How do we know they are super smart (apart from being told they are)...well they fornicate without restraint or regard to morality because they are "evolved" and so much smarter than those puritanical mental midgets.
I sincerely hope you are yanking my chain. I love this show as it is an amusing CSI. Hodges almost has me convinced he is a scientist although I would like to know what idiot equipped their lab. It has the cheapest POS eppendorf pipettors and crappiest microscopes I have ever seen. No self respecting competant investigator would use that crap.
They spent all the lab's money on multistory vaulted ceilings and lots and lots of glass.
Of course that hits my same pet peeve that the glass walled offices and conference room of super secret organizations like in 24. Has no one in Hollywood had the dreariness of sitting all day in a concrete block vault where you have to call to someone on the outside to have them describe the “sun” to you, which seems to be a giant fluorescent bulb in the sky.
True, she has a high IQ.
Not true, (but sold as the "smart" thing to think) if you are smart and well educated then you are an atheist.
Oops, I obviously stumbled around and didn't say what I meant. I'm not saying that all smart and well educated people are destined to be atheists. What I was trying to say is that if you went from a messed up childhood into the world of academia, I can see how you would wind up an atheist. If no one cared enough to introduce you to God, how would you know Him given the way the self-proclaimed intelligentsia disdain Him?
