"Good Morning America" co-host Diane Sawyer worried on Thursday that Barack Obama backtracked "on his pledge to release pictures of U.S. soldiers allegedly torturing terror suspects," fretting that this might be a "cave-in to Dick Cheney and the political right."
Later in the show, former Democratic aide-turned journalist George Stephanopoulos appeared on the program to put the best possible spin on the Obama administration's decision to appeal a court decision ordering pictures of alleged abuse released. Talking to co-host Robin Roberts, he offered talking points that could have come straight from White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

Dick Cheney gets results.
Diane’s forgotten what hill/holler she came from.
Was Diane Sawyer the one who committed adultery with a congressman? No wait, that was Barbara Wawa.
I get all of these ABC anchorettes of the 1970s confused.
Well! George is a Parrot working directly for “THE DEAD FISH!” We already know that, the writer didn’t have to waste any words pointing that out.:-)

Me, too.
But I don’t confuse Helen Thomas with anyone.
Sawyer is pissed that she’s not gonna have stories about suicide bombers killing our troopa to air.
Its hard to believe they actually believe the things they say, and without a trace of embarrassment.
Diane Sawyer always looks like she’s standing on a tack.

Empty-suited man behind the curtain meets REAL COWBOY.
ROFLMO-—That’s funnnnnneeeeeee!
Not "could have".
A bit off topic - did anyone notice how the nightly news are no longer airing the names of our soldiers who gave their lives?
Which, without question, is exactly where the talking points came from ... the oval office & Rahm Emanuel.
Two things are amazing about Snuffaluffagus. First he seems surprised that Cheney's logical point actually rings true with average Americans, as if we're all in sympathy with Muzzies trying to kill us. The second thing is that he's almost confused as to why a commander in chief would side with the military. Or is it just shocking to him that 0bama is actually siding with the troops.
