One has to be EXTREMELY loose with Scriptural interpretaton in order to believe ETs are discussed in any context. I simply do not prescribe to the notion that one has to jump through hoops in order to understand Scripture.
I won't let others think for me; and, I have no trust in the clergy. Especially those who tell me they are specially qualified to interpret for me.
I have a lot of sympathy with that perspective.
However, Genesis 6 speaks of nephilium/fallen angels/watchers.
Evidently those with bodies on earth given war tools to man and sleeping with human women
REALLY angered God a LOT.
He wiped that bunch out in Noah’s flood where they lost their bodies and became demons seeking what or whomever they could inhabit.
Not all the 1/3 fallen angels were in that bunch. Evidently plenty were still zipping around in space etc. and have been plaguing the earth with various nefarious schemes building toward the END TIMES world government for millenia.
. . . setting up the GREAT DECEPTION . . . so great, that were it possible, the very elect would be deceived.
. . . and . . . again . . . there’s that giving war making technologies to man and having sex with humans . . .
other than the immorality of that, there seems to be something specific about it that outrages God.
Some speculated that before Christ, they were busy trying to pollute the gene pool so that the perfect Savior could not be born. No one seems to know what they are up to with their hybridizing program now.
. . . . unless it’s trying to shoe-horn in on the soul aspect of humans for some reason.
The things in Scripture necessary for establishing and maintaining a relationship with God are quite simple enough.
Yet, some things God deliberately hid to be dug out with much study. GOD DID THAT.
