Personally, I think “forced” is a huge stretch. And, a curiouis choice of words.

In your professional opinion, is "WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!" a cordial disagreement or a parent-like admonition toward immediate correction?

I’m plenty strident.

And certainly accused of being too often over the top.

Besides all that, I sometimes get perverse fun out of tweaking folks of a certain attitude.

Guilty.

Then, sometimes I try to be startling enough to get folks to pause—even if hours or days later—and consider more whether they were wrong, or not.
