They have solid reasons for their assertions. You certainly may ignore them and disagree with them. I wouldn’t consider that wisdom, given what I’ve studied.
My best impression at this point is that your refusal to seemingly fairly consider the evidence has far less to do with the Bible, the language, or even the facts and issues than it has to do with your psychology.
