Of course. The world is not as simple as Mojave expects you to believe. (No, I won’t leave him “out” of it). My comment is directed at both of. It’s more efficient.

Of course.

Do you agree with other contentions on this thread, that if one believes there might be exceptions to a free trade philosophy, where tariffs/duties/fees (or whatever you want to call them) are appropriate, they are for "managed trade" and expressly not a "free-trader"?
