So you agree that President Reagan promoted free trade. And your objection is not with free trade, correct? Your objection is with some specific pieces of legislation?
Essentially, we can boil your position down to:
I support free trade but I don't like some of the environmental requirements of NAFTA.
Is that a correct summation? Just want to make sure we get this solidly determined.

And it was not NAFTA.

That's what's funny, and why you can't get a straight answer. I don't think our friend supports free trade at all, which is why he's so emotional about the Reagan thing.
