I finally quit riding when I got a knee replacement and my surgeon told me, "Remember, if you drop your bike and twist your new knee, I'm going to have to cut it out of you." (However, friends have told me to forget the doctor's warning and to buy a trike.)
Have you seen the Can-Am Spyder? It looks like a blast.
I would rather have my knee cut out than ride a trike.
We build trikes...:)
i’m lucky to be alive if not paralized.
ambulance to local hospital then helicopter to Beth Israel in boston.
ICU for 6 nights, 2 in an induced coma
Cracked scull
broken jaw (mouth wired shut, havent eaten food in 2 weeks)
broken collarbone
shattered left wrist (i’m a lefty)
lacerated liver
bleeding behind pancreas and brain
sprained right wrist and knee
massive bruising on my hip
facial bone cracks
eyeball full of blood
general bad pain EVERWHERE
i wasnt even riding hard just putting around breifly, didn’t bother to even put my helmet on. Big mistake.
They tell my My handgrip clipped a tree. i have zero memory of it.
Funny thing is not a single cut or scrape on my body minus around my right eye. LOTS of bruises though.
Anyways i’m gonna be 42 in August so i think it might just be time to hang it up!
lol
Bike ofcourse survived perfectly.
Anybody in the market for a Kawasaki KDX 200? :)
