Don't get that line of BS started

What ethic do I have to give up to get "our guys" elected?
Government payments for abortion on demand? Government taking over businesses?

I refuse to compromise and move to the vaguely describeld "middle".

Trust me, I'm with you 100% - no compromise, but that's in my life, not in politics. Even Reagan was wrong on immigration, he's the touchstone now, but in no way 100% Conservative in action when POTUS. Bush 2 - not even close, but I still liked him versus having Gore or Kerry.

Here's the deal - it's not personal, it's politics.

Everyone, including me, wants a perfect 100% Conservative candidate - 100% in the past, present and almost a guarantee for the future. Not going to happen - it's purely a dream now. Actually, holding out for 100% Conservative credentials - for someone that the masses will like and elect seems like insanity, based on the fact that America has not elected a 100% Conservative POTUS in modern times - Conservatives don't even have a party and, for sure, cannot agree on a candidate.

Actually, I'm on your side - just expressing my dissatisfaction with the 100% crowd around here when the most resent result turned out to be that Obama was elected, YIKES! And, I'll bet that Conservatives will run this whole POTUS cycle into the ditch again in 2012 - ending up with a less than 100% Conservative candidate on the Republican ticket and not supporting that candidate. Let's face it, Conservatives don't run the Republican party. A third party is a lame idea with a split with Republicans giving Democrats a free ride to the White House.

I firmly believe that Conservatives need to go with the Republican party - pushing the party hard right or as far right as possible - backing whoever is nominated by the masses. Secondly, work on local Congress and Senate candidates that can be 100% Conservative and win - locally, even statewide. That will balance out the strange liberal quarks that POTUS's on the Republican side seem to have – the immigration BS is an example – supported by W, voted down by Congress.

It's not personal its business and in this case political business (a nasty business at best). Voting for 99% of what you are all about isn't a personal compromise of ethics, it's accepting reality within the public square. At the end of the day, all each of us can do is live our owns lives in a traditional way and encourage others to do the same.

Have a good weekend.
