Not sure what you’re referring to . . . the pottery I had photos of on webshots?
LOL.
I’ve probably sold 10 pieces out of 500—most given away. I don’t earn enough to pay tuition, much less materials! I get regular classes free when I teach but not during the summer.
I don’t have any earned income in the summer. A friend gives me enough for gas in the van during the summer.
I have one biggish bowl in the last student show currently on for $62.50. Hasn’t sold yet! LOL.
Lots of folks like my better blue pieces. But this is not a high dollar art locale. Still, if I can throw this summer, I hope to have some good pieces for a Christmas sale. Assuming everything is still functioning by then! LOL.
Can get interesting. Still, I have The Lord, friends, clothes, food, shelter, transportation and communications. No big complaints.
BTW,
I don’t have an art studio. Some of those pics were taken at the college pottery studio. I sell a few things at the Christmas sale, normally. Have probably given more things away to FREEPERS than I’ve sold totally in the last 10 years.
One FREEPER on the AZ Sedona trip at Yorkie’s house, dropped one of my larger globular pots—about 12-14” in diameter . . . thankfully from only about 2 feet up onto a carpet over probably cement—the thing bounced a bit like a basket ball and he caught it before it hit the floor again, IIRC.
It was hilarious—didn’t crack nor break—and I don’t think it was all that thick walled, either.
It’s good therapy for me.
