Yup...the figures I gave are for a man sized object falling from a stationary point from under 3000’ MSL (although doesn’t vary greatly up to 7 or 8000’) Terminal velocity is reached after 12 secs.( or 1483’ distance traveled)..at roughly 120 mph to 200 mph depending on body position.

How far would an object in a vacuum fall in the first second based upon Earth gravitational acceleration? After two second of falling in that acceleration field, how far would the person have fallen?
