Since Obama doesn't want to close the borders, I don't see this as some king of scheme. This is the kind of thing that will get folks agitated to close the borders. Why would the current administration want to alarm folks? Doesn't make sense to me.

Because he wants to push his socialized health care through Congress and fast.

I don't think this would help. Doesn't make sense. Anyone without insurance is going to go to the emergency room and get treated, regardless.

Being treated for this flu is not the same thing as going bankrupt due to expensive cancer treatment.
