He is at least consistent... The Smith’s released Meat Is Murder over 20 years ago... Great record by the way... How Soon is Now is one of the vest songs of the 1980’s.

Highly influential and successful alternative British band of the 80’s . ALL their albums went gold and some even platinum . Not too shabby .

yummy barbecue smells.

We live just a few miles from there....there's a local BBQ legend named "Big Willy" who caters; given this just ended affair and next weekend's "Stagecoach", which will be country/cowboy stuff - he'll make his year's profits and be a very happy man.

LOL. I should have said that I mostly Jog not run.

From Wikipedia: "Fixx died at the age of 52 of a massive heart attack, after his daily run, on Route 15 in Hardwick, Vermont. The autopsy revealed that atherosclerosis had blocked one coronary artery 95%, a second 85%, and a third 50%. Some who opposed his beliefs said this was proof running was harmful.[2] However, Fixx came from a family where the men had poor health histories. His father suffered a heart attack at the age of 35 and died of one at 42. Given Fixx's unhealthy lifestyle until he took up running, many argued that running added many years to his life."

It looks like he’s been putting away lots of meat.

It's that healthy vegan lifestyle.

Maybe some human fetal stem cells doped into his body could bring back the fountain of youth...

I have no idea who this is, why he's famous, or what he's done.

He convinced the New York Dolls to reunite shortly before the death of Arthur "Killer" Kane.

I must admit, that picture has convinced me not to eat meat...or anything else...for a looong time.

I know what you mean. My Mom is a food nazi cause my Dad is diabetic. In the middle of surgery for a kidney stone, he had a heart attack. He had a triple by-pass within a month.
The men in his family generally die you of heart problems.
I am an involuntary jogger. I adopted a Rat terrier in November. When I walk her, I TRY to keep up!

Vegetarian for more than thirty years here. I respect carnivores and omnivores, but I have to say I’m with Morrissey on the smell, and those meat pics don’t tempt me one iota!

LOL, I used to have an adopted Jack Russell Terrier and he had so much energy that I would hold the leash up in the air and he would just run circles around me all the time we were walking. He was 18 years old when he passed away. He was a good dog.

30 years!! Thats great. I was thinking same thing about the meat pics; I am not enticed at all by them. I would rather have some Spaghetti with Italian Bread any day.

Boy, this is the picture of clean living and eating right. Sure he doesn't eat fast food, it looks like he gets his nutrition in pint glasses.
