Sounds like our Samoyed. We call her our "watchdog" because she'd watch you carry out the TV, stereo and computer. If she could, she'd even hold the door open for you :-)

There was a ‘watchdog’ like that in Florida who made the news. She let the friendly burglars in, engaged them in play, but wouldn’t let them leave. She was a golden retriever.
