I work for a Chicago P.R. company, and we had a client, George Fox, Jr., who published a book, “Abraham Lincoln’s Faith-Based Leadership,” which was written by George Fox, Sr. (1885-1959). He was raised near Springfield, IL, and, while he was a child, he talked to several old men, who knew Lincoln, when Lincoln lived in Springfield. According to the book, those old men said that Lincoln said that his Christian faith was very important to him. He quoted many Bible verses, and his faith influenced many of his decisions, as president.
I am sure his faith helped him justify his Yankee Jihad led by his evil minion, Sherman the "Torch", against GA and SC.
