DENVER One Colorado womans love for tofu has been judged X-rated by state officials.
Kelly Coffman-Lee wanted to tell the world about her fondness for bean curd by picking certain letters for her SUVs license plate. Her suggestion for the plate: ILVTOFU.
But the Division of Motor Vehicles blocked her plan because they thought the combination of letters could be interpreted as profane.

I’d like to meet this woman; Just to see what kind of personality gets so into tofu that they are compelled to tell the world. Outside of hot and sour soup, I’m hard pressed to find one use for the stuff.

I once had a plate on a motorcycle:
SX87
A woman grabbed me once in the parking lot of a restaurant:
“That's disgusting!”
“Why,” I asked.
“It means SEX 1987!”
I replied: “Not really. It is a symbol for the Chicago Board Of Trade - (S)Soybeans, (X)November expiration - 1987. With my profits I bought this.”
Like Rush says: ‘Ignorance is America's largest expense (paraphrase, if not totally accurate, my apologies, but the intent is spot on!).
