Thats okay, Meg, we can’t be here every minute. The cake turned out beautiful and the glaze is tasty but I am not as pleased with the glaze. It taste good anyway.
I let it cool in pan about 10 minutes, then turned out on a plate. I worried about it so since I could handle it a little, I very gingerly moved it to the rack and let it cool. I was glad, too, because the plate had sweated terribly! The glaze recipe said to drizzle on warm cake and I did. It is now in the cake carrier because it will be going on a trip...LOL! Now, I have to make Macaroni Salad and I have to run to store for 2 items. Shoot!
I know it will be a “hit”,jaycee...I am anxious to try the caramel glaze.
