I think the point of the article is that the Kia goes 0 to 60 three seconds faster than the Lexus, breaks from 60 to 0 in 100 fewer meet, has 110 more horses at a higher torq, gets 15 MPG better fuel efficiency and has 10 m^3 more cargo space.

But to be fair, the Lexus’ doors lock.
