If God communicates to us in familiar terms, I could see Jesus coming back in an Apache to defend Israel from being annihilated. Something we can relate to, not a spaceship. If you were rescuing someone, they would need to recognize being rescued, not attacked. And I believe it will be marked with the Star of David.
Once someone commented to me that the Ezekiel ship sounded very much like an Apache. I visualize it more as what we normally think UFO's look like.
Consider the following, which is speaking about the time of the tribulation when, "he that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face, "the"he" being Satan...

2:4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.
2:13 "Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
That sounds like the "chariots" that are like lightning and have "torches" are a warship of types although I see all this fighting as being spiritual in nature. Satan will be deceiving us, spiritually killing our souls...except for the witnesses who will literally be killed. Satan's army arrives first...Our Father wants us to "keep the munition, watch thy way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily," [2:1] while that is going on and then....
Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud One sat like unto the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
We have to understand that Satan arrives first...pretending to be Christ which is the power he is given that will deceive many. Then the true Savior arrives and...wailing for those that didn't wait for Him.
