I didn’t even know what the stigma was until I looked up the word “handicap” in the dictionary. This means that I am either incredibly ignorant or you are way too easily offended. You have never been so offended in your life? Truly? I am actually quite envious of your sheltered life as I have heard nouns that would make the Nazis cringe. Most of these are spoken on a daily basis by modern day eugenicists.
I have a severely mentally disabled (not merely challenged) aunt and I pray that you never hear the words that others have used to describe her. You are truly lucky.
