JENNIFER Hudson is quietly taping her return to “American Idol” after tomorrow night’s show is off the air.

After the lights go down on Wednesday’s results show, the in-house audience will be treated to an intimate performance by the 27-year-old Oscar winner.

The performance will then be shown on an unspecified future show.
