My personal opinion is that it is more about his very dark image. Vampires are all the rage with teen girls because of the whole Twilight phenomenon.Thanks, RK. That makes a lot of sense. The Twilight thing has pretty much gone over my head.

Emily Geiger recommended the books to me and I downloaded the first one on audiobook. I normally really enjoy EG’s recommendations, but, I have to be honest, this one isn’t my favorite. It could have been edited down quite a bit. As a pre-teen/teen I would have absolutely loved it, though, and been one of those fan girls rioting at the mall to see Edward/Robert Pattinson. LOL
