Dancing is all about beautiful lines and graceful movement. With legs about 18 inchs long (and just as thick) she just couldn’t pull it off.
Gilles, on the other hand, is just about the most perfect piece of eye candy I’ve ever seen. And he danced like a pro. (My grandchildren would be horrified to hear me say that.) I wonder why he didn’t win.
I was truly surprised at the outcome of DWTS...I thought Gilles had it all wrapped up-he was the best dancer by far and deserved to win. I thought Melissa would come in second and Shawn third...shows what I know!
I really think the outstanding choreography by Mark Ballas is what won it for "the fireplug." He knew how to take advantage of her gymnastics training to make her look like a better dancer than she actually is. Too bad. Gilles really deserved to win. Anyway, I hope we get to see more of him in acting gigs.
