Here are my rankings for the night.
1. Carrie Underwood - Home Sweet Home - Another perfect performance From Carrie, She is going to be a big star. ..... OH wait... What I mean is...

1. Adam - Change is Gonna Come - Amazing performance of this Sam Cooke classic. Had the Signature Adam BLAST note, and the rest was wonderfully done.
2. Kris - Ain’t No Sunshine - I truly believe Kris could get a top 10 hit if he released this version of this song. Absolutely stunning performance.
3. Adam - Mad World - Outstanding! A beautiful, moving, RESTRAINED performance by Adam.
4. Kris - What’s Goin On - I really dug this acoustic version of Marvin’s anthem. A very good performance. Not knock me off my feet awesome, but very good!
5. Adam/Kris - No Boundaries - This is one of the first Idol Songs I have actually said to myself, I wouldn’t mind hearing this on the radio. I felt Adam sang it better, but I found Kris to be more understandable — so I give it a slight edge to Adam.
Round 1 - Kris by a nose.
Round 2 - Clear win by Adam
Round 3 - Basically a tie, but a slight edge to Adam.
Overall a great Final! I would have to give the night to Adam based on Round Two, as I felt Round 1 and Round 3 were about dead even.
WHO SHOULD WIN - ADAM, Slightly better tonight, and also based on his full body of work. Kris has had some great moments, but Adam has shone week in and week out.
WHO WILL WIN - KRIS. I really think tonight was too close for Adam to leech enough of the “leaning Kris” votes to offset the TWEEN TEXTER ARMY that will be tapping thier fingers raw for Kris. Last year David Cook was able to overcome the Texters with an almost clear knockout victory in the finals, I don’t think Adam pulled that level of a win tonight.
Overall, one of the best Idol seasons I can remember. This is the first season since Season 5 that I can point to multiple Idols and say “I will buy or probably buy thier CD” — In season 5 I knew I would be buying Taylor, Elliot, Daughtry, Kellie and Bucky CD’s — This season I know I will buy Allison, Adam, Danny and Kris’ CD’s. The only other season I had more than one was Season 4 with Carrie, Bo and Josh Gracin.
