Round 2

Kris Allen

Simon Fuller's choice for Kris is "What's Going On".

"War is not the answer ..." Let's shake hands with third world dictators, apologize for America and other Hopey-changey bullshit.

He performs with an acoustic guitar, seated with three other guys playing bongos.

Randy: We got ourselves a real live competition. Song for the times we're living in. A little bit light for this big old room.

Kara: You've been true to yourself from day one. I like Simon Fuller picked a socially concious song. Makes people think, makes people change. [VOMIT!]

Paula: Made Marvin Gaye proud!

Simon: Loved the song, but if I'm going to be honest it was like three friends strumming along with Marvin Gay in their bedroom. Sorry. Too laid back.

Seacrest asks Simon who won Round 2.

Simon: Oh a million percent Adam, Round 2.

Hated the song but Kris didn’t choose that crap fest...He sang well.

I know he wouldn’t have chosen that song for himself.
