Kris Allen and Adam Lambert will each sing three songs tonight — Simon Fuller’s choice, their choice, and the coronation song. This year’s coronation song is “No Boundaries,” written by “Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi, Cathy Dennis and Mitch Allen and produced by Eman. The winner’s version will start streaming on AOL’s PopEater.com at 1 a.m. Thursday. Carrie Underwood is also set to perform the year’s elimination song “Home Sweet Home” tonight.
“Home Sweet Home” was written by Tommy Lee and Nikki Six of Motley Crew back in IIRC 1985 for their “Theater Of Pain” album. It was a big power ballad hit for them.
