I live near where Adam’s hometown thing was and I’ve heard they basically told the students they had to be there for it...although there is a lot of local support I found that interesting.
I can sort of see that Adam might not have been Mr. Popularity in high school. Artsy, theatre-types often are usually not part of the jock and cheerleader crowd.
