I can't believe that they couldn't fit the standard 3 songs each into the hour. How long is each song? We usually get, judges pick, Clive Davis' pick and the contestant's pick.

This season has been pure crap. I usually made sure I would be home to watch and this season, I haven't bothered with several episodes. I just catch the vids online.

It's all because of Kara. They can't do anything the way they used to (the right way) because every decision they make has to accommodate a useless fourth judge.

For instance, last night Randy couldn't have a pick of his own. He had to share the song with her highness, "Apologize", which was really her choice. And then (predictably) she had to make it all about her.
