Although I think this is one of the most talented seasons they've had, I don't believe any of them are going to have any kind of real commercial success.
I think Lambert will have a niche or cult-like following - much like Aiken, but not as strong as Lambert can't sing the traditional ballot as well as the Gayken. As for the rest, maybe a song, or two and a modestly selling first album, but nothing beyond that for any of them, JHMO.
Aiken is someone who grandmothers can like. Adam is someone whom grandmothers would warn you to stay away from.
I have to agree....I am not that enthused with this year at all....
