I was in class, so I didn't get to follow the thread last night. I absolutely have to say:

YEAHHHHHHH!!!!! They finally got rid of SCOTT. Rejoice! In a perfect world, Lil will be next. They had the right ones in the bottom three.

Obama’s “birthday song” was “Tossin’ and Turnin’” by Bobby Lewis.

LOL.

You can doubt it all you want there have been people that said they were assigned songs that they didn’t want and were not allowed to change.

It's got to be frustrating for those contestants when they sing the unwanted song and then the judges slam them for "poor song choice." They've got to stand up there and keep their mouths shut or else they'll look bad.

I think a lot of people assume the contestants can pick any song they want. They can't. They can ask to sing a certain song, but then it has to be "approved."

LOL @ South Park. Kanye West is too stupid to figure out the fishsticks joke. “I’m a genius!”

Matt and Trey or other South Park writers have to frequent the gossip blogs, because that is exactly how he is. He takes himself so seriously that there is no way he is sane.

South Park Studios doesn't have any stills up from last night's show yet, but his entourage in the episode was dressed incredibly similar to this picture posted on D-Listed:

That's not photoshopped. That's how he and his boys roll. LOL

Reminds me of the King of the Hill episode; "Dad, what's wrong with those guys?" "Well, Bobby, they're hippies." LOL! So true and so funny.

That is one of my favorite episodes! "Dad, I ate hippie gumbo!"

I had to look this one up, because it cracks me up every time:

RANGER BRADLEY: Did you know that hippies are the number-one source of airborne and waterborne pollution, right in front of Dow Chemical and Mexican trucks?
HANK: Uh... I'm not sure about that, but those hippies have got to go. What if Bobby and I took care of them ourselves?
RANGER BRADLEY: Great! How many firehoses do you need? I've got some pepper spray that could take down a bear.
HANK: Or we could just shut off some of the park services.
RANGER BRADLEY: Well, that doesn't sound quite as interesting, but you're on your own.

Ya know, I think I know your statement is meant to be sincere, but I find it hilarious! LOL!

LOL I did mean it to be sincere! I mean, really, a blind guy in a big dance number? That's just mean!

I don't think the powers that be at AI have a problem being mean to him. You saw his hair, right?

Just read on Vote for the Worst that next week's theme is Songs from the Cinema with Quentin Tarantino as mentor.

Are you serious?

So, next week we can expect random gratuitous violence and obscure pop-culture references?

If you held a gun to my head, I couldn't tell you where to get a pair of metallic pink sneakers.

Zappos.com. They have everything shoe related. Now in case that gunman comes in, your life will be spared.

This is how he tried to explain the picture:

I'm gonna tell you something about the Paris pic. They was like, some of the people dressed in the outfits, I didn't check out everybody's outfit that hopped in the picture with me — I can't be completely responsible. You go right into my outfit, my outfit is good.

Like they all just showed up 2 seconds before the picture was snapped and he makes such complete eye contract with people he has no idea what the rest of them looks like? LMAO

LMAO Yes, pink Willy Wonka pants, too. Do you remember the show, The Greatest American Hero? For some reason Scott reminds me of him. Must be the curly blonde hair.

Trivia time, RK:

In Greatest American Hero, what was the main characters name and why did they switch to calling him “Mr. H” in later seasons?

I don't understand that either.

But I guess this seasons AI is sort of like his movies- a 2 great ones and a bunch of random ones hardly anyone cares about.

Let's just hope no one does a Mr. Blonde during "Stuck in the Middle With You."*

*Resevoir Dogs reference for those of you in Rio Linda, as Rush would say

I was really little when that show was on, so I had to google it. Interesting info:

As previously mentioned, the main character's name was originally Ralph Hinkley, but after the assassination attempt of Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley, Jr. on March 30, 1981 (only 12 days after the pilot episode aired), the character's last name was amended to "Hanley" for the Season 1 episode "Reseda Rose". For the rest of the 1st season, he was either "Ralph" or "Mister H". During the episode aired the night of the assassination attempt, the sound of a jet airplane was used to dub over the last name being spoken, and in subsequent episodes there was overdubbing of his students calling him "Mr. H" instead of "Mr. Hinkley." In the episode where Ralph is given a promotion and his own (tiny) office space, we see the name "Ralph Hanley" on the door plaque. At the start of the 2nd season the name had changed back to Hinkley.

I remember watching it back then (around 10 or 11), but the “Hinkley” thing was something I learned only a few years ago.
