Its Your Turn
A soft sweet breeze blows over a still landscape dark
and a tattered battered flag, valiantly struggles to lift
men with bleary tired eyes, check their guns and shift
looking out over a landscape once familiar, now so stark
They stand for freedom of hearth, and faith, and life
willing to give it all, to keep the precious gift so fair
courage common in common hearts, they in faith swear
and stand to hold back the ravages of others strife
Patriots seek freedom, and honor, when duty calls
they seek it for family, and friends there at their side
they've paid the price time and again, making evil hide
do you, like them, have the courage, even if you fall
