Isn’t it fun? Stocking the cupboards with pantry items, non perishables, pots and pans, silverware, dishes - then towels, sheets, first aid kit, tools, etc.

Of course it is a LOT of work - but, then, it is like getting an apartment. Lots of stuff that isn’t being used in the house is put to good use.

And, once it is decorated and furnished as planned, it is such a wonderful sigh of relief.

Yes, I can’t wait until it is just as I want it. I scavenged a lot of things from the house that I had duplicated, but many things I am going to have to buy. This could get expensive. I have to control my Martha Stewart instinct and keep myself going way overboard “decorating” it. I have enough Corelle for three families. I keep telling myself that I don’t need that pretty new pattern that matches the valances perfectly, or those placemats that compliment the the pretty oak cabinets. LOL. Lord help me, this is not going to be easy. ;-)
