Its a significant question, one that we all need to ask ourselves. Living in a fallen, broken world, its no wonder that sometimes we feel overwhelmed by the powers of darkness. When we are at the point of despair, ready to throw in the towel, we do well to follow Pauls advice to Timothy: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life (1 Tim. 6:12).
In lifes battles, lets hold on to the fact that good will triumph over evil in the end, that one day we will see our Master and Leader face-to-face, and we will reign with Him forever. You can be part of this great story, knowing that if you have trusted Jesus for salvation you are guaranteed a victorious ending!
WAKE UP YOU LAZY LOUTS!
BREAKFAST IS ON THE COUNTER, AND COFFEE’S IN THE POT!
now for a bit of a softer sort.
On Rising
Oh dream of things from memory and life
things that set free the soul from strife
To open the heart and fill it with joy bright
as dawn fills the eyes with a pearled light
The whisper of the morning breeze so soft
has the power a sad heart to gently loft
Breathe out a sweet breath of wondrous life
sound as pure as a lingering note of a fife
Alive to everything about as if all were new
each moment filled with possibilities to do
Embrace the day and take all it holds as yours
for each is just another of life’s many doors

Psalms 1:1-6
Psalm
1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
