Thank you for the beautiful Saturday Opening! That is the prettiest cat. I had a cat similar to that one. When my MIL
passed away, she had a pretty grey cat like that and a dog. Her daughter took the dog and I took the cat. My cat’s name was Susie! We had a new puppy then, our first Sheltie named Dolly and I was so worried about bringing in the cat. Didn’t take long until they were best of friends and playing together.

The thing I didn’t like was my little dog liked to eat the cat’s food and I had a time keeping it from her.

Millie and Max were grown when Mr Mittens came to live with us, as was he.
After a couple of months he went into the back yard with an 'I live here, too' attitude.
They tried to get him to run so they could chase him.
He would have none of that. Now they just ignore him.
I know when dogs and cats are raised together, they become playmates.

Nice to hear that your Red Hat Lunch went well.
I have two friends who belong and they always enjoy the monthly luncheons.
