Kathleen is a coward! lol
She took this job because she gets term limited out, next year, and she has done enough polling to know that she can not defeat Todd Tiarht for Senate!
She knows we are heading for a Republican year.

Obama couldn’t find anyone more zealously pro-abortion who was willing to pay their back taxes to get confirmed.

Agreed
Kathleen used to be Insurance Commissioner.
She ran many companies out of the state, with her incompetence and liberalism.

I can remember an Insurance Com. debate. Ron Todd called her “Kathy” -— at a large Wichita Insurance Ass. meeting.

“My NAME is KATHLEEEEEN!” she hissed, as a vein popped out on her neck! It was funny as hell. Well, that and kind of creepy.

I certainly hope she doesn’t attempt to go to Communion, IF she even goes to Mass these days.

Thank God, they are getting her skanky ass out of Kansas. Now the big question is, who will replace her?

One of her first official acts will be to institue the George Tiller Award, to be given to the doctor who has performed the most abortions in the previous year. Tiller himself will be ineligible, as he already holds the all time World Record.

“Beyond her decision not to “speak Catholic,” Sebelius has a politically thorny relationship with her bishop. In April, she vetoed legislation that would have beefed up efforts to enforce restrictions on abortion providers in Kansas. The law was aimed squarely at Dr. George Tiller, one of the nation's fiercest defenders of late-term abortions. Sebelius said she vetoed the law because it was clearly unconstitutional and would invite frivolous lawsuits, a position that was supported by the Kansas City Star and various women's organizations. Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City — Sebelius’s own bishop — saw it differently: He went public with his request that the governor refrain from presenting herself for communion. In a column in his diocesan paper, the archbishop called her behavior “scandalous” before going on to say, “The spiritually lethal message, communicated by our governor, as well as many other high-profile Catholics in public life, has been in effect: ‘The church's teaching on abortion is optional.’” Sebelius did not offer any public response to the archbishop's edict.

Archbishop Naumann is one of a number of conservative prelates who have decided to use the communion rail as a bludgeon in the culture war. (The most famous example came in 2004, when Archbishop Raymond Burke of St. Louis forbade John Kerry from receiving communion within his jurisdiction; another was when Douglas Kmiec, a former Department of Justice official in the Reagan administration, was denied communion for his support of Obama this year.) Naumann has been published in the conservative Catholic journal First Things, a magazine that often mimics White House talking points more faithfully than it follows the teachings of the Catholic Church. And he has participated in the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, an annual event that's meant to bring Catholics together with (mostly Republican) political leaders. In the event that Obama selects Sebelius, we can expect Naumann to take to the airwaves, and Obama’s campaign could be forced into a high-profile and unwelcome skirmish with a religious figure.”

Obama did this because he isn't getting much of a Prolife vote, anyway.

He is being short sighted. This is going to blur the line between “Pro Choice” and “Pro Abortion” ——

Obama is about to force Catholic medical providers into the abortion camp or out of the medical field.

If Sebelius does not take a stand against that action, she should be FORMALLY, Ceremonially, EX COMMUNICATED!

Those of us who have been a bit upset with our Catholic Church leaders over the last decade, are watching to see how they handle this.

I might have to go Eastern Orthodox!

A, you assume that Tiahrt will be the candidate. And B, you assume she won't run anyway. You may well be wrong on both.

And, I assume that you are an idiot.

Considering how asinine your other assumptions are it's impossible to be offended. Sebelius will run, she'll use HHS as an excuse to get out of town for the next two state budgets so she avoids being saddled with them. And Tiahrt is already up against Moran and will probably be running against Kobach as well so it's a bit early for your coronation.

Kobach will not run and split the right.

It would be a stupid thing for him to do, and he will not get any funding for such a move. If I am wrong here, then Kobach is finished. He will be less welcome than David Miller, after his disasterous run against Bill Graves, forcing out conservative Steve Abrams.

Sebelius will NOT run for Senate while serving in the Obama administration. For one thing, there are probably some laws against that. She would be hard pressed to separate “govt business” from campaign work and campaign travel. It won't happen and you are truly an idiot to suggest otherwise.

Obama, also, would not need such a distraction. If “Kathy” were a candidate, while serving on the Obama administration, KATHY would be NATIONAL news, taking too much camera time away from our Pretender in Chief!

Finally, Tiahrt has an excellent shot, at securing the nomination. However, If you can get a Johnson County RINO to run, tell me where to send the campaign check! That ought to just about lock it up for Tiahrt!

I am not from Kansas but I think it highly unlikely that some one would take a cabinet position if they are going to resign it to go back home to run for another job.

You don't know our governor. I'd bet the ranch that she'll be running in 2010.

Kobach will not run and split the right.

The right may already be split with Tiahrt and Moran both running. Kobach has been looking forward to this for years. Why else did he take the state GOP chair?

Sebelius will NOT run for Senate while serving in the Obama administration.

Sure she will.

For one thing, there are probably some laws against that. She would be hard pressed to separate “govt business” from campaign work and campaign travel. It won't happen and you are truly an idiot to suggest otherwise.

You're making up laws that don't exist and I'm the idiot?

Finally, Tiahrt has an excellent shot, at securing the nomination. However, If you can get a Johnson County RINO to run, tell me where to send the campaign check! That ought to just about lock it up for Tiahrt!

Tiahrt owe you money or something? What makes you so sure he can beat Moran much less Kobach?
