Quix but it seems it is not true

You may have heard that a converter bot has a small camera and/or mic inside so the goverment can spy on you. This is false, ever care to take one apart? I did mine to show you all that is in there is basic curcits that make the darn thing work. Bleave me, I take apart electronics all the time I know what mics and mini camreas look like. Anyway your converter box is a reciver not a transmitter.

Converter boxes have no way to transmit a signal

but why is that you ask? a converter box hooks up to your antenna. you might have rabbit ears, you might have a larger antenna on the side of your house, which in my experiences works ALOT better. those setups are the only ones in which you actually need a converter box.

antennas work GREAT in picking up a signal, but it is not physically possible for them to TRANSMIT a signal without MAJOR altercations, meaning they can read, but not write. even if they have a camera and mic, who would they send that info to? i see they didnt find a Wifi card in there, which would be the ONLY way to get the video from the box.

Our son’s old cell phone once “malfunctioned.” When we would call him we could hear everything he was saying, though he didn’t realize that his phone was broadcasting because it didn’t ring. Handy function, eh?
