No argument there. Of course some food and other essentials like salt, vitamins, and some luxuries make sense. Butpeople will be astonished at how fast a new medium of exchange gets started if the currency collapses.
Salt! See those are things my husband thinks I’m weird for stocking up on. I said “Who thinks to stock up on salt? And wouldn’t you want salt?” Heck, for .50 a box, why not? So I have about 2 dozen boxes set aside. That and cough syrup. You can get cough syrup and ibuprofen really cheap in the dollar store. That might come in real handy.
