Just because someone watches “idol” doesn’t mean they have rocks in his/her head. No different than watching NASCAR, NFL, or baseball.
One can certainly be entertained and still have intelligence enough to know the issues and government. YOU, after all are just messing around on FR.
I have to agree with you. I am on the phone now trying to talk to the so called leaders of our so called democracy. I also watched American Idol so I don’t blow my brains out for how much I hate the government and that stinken field mouse they are spending millions of dollars on. I stay informed but if I don’t watch something else I will go completely insane.
I am living proof that a person with an IQ of 175 watches American Idol.
It is great comic relief, contrapuntal to the depressing daily economic news.
