Actually, in terms of character . . . I’m skeptical that most naysayers would recognize true character if it bit them in their tender parts.

I don’t have any delusions about convincing or even significantly influencing any naysayer.
I do have the capacity to recognize most lost causes that I run across.
And, I’m not a great fan of debate.
It’s much more fun to play with naysayers after the fashion that they seem so compulsively addicted to assaulting us seriously-interested-in-the-topic folks with, . . . after the style they seem so . . . driven to.
