Check your county regulations before proceeding. Someone in our county did this and is being sued, it is illegal to produce one’s own power, no kidding! I live in NC.

It is amazing what they dream up to make a law on.
President Carter was pushing solar and wind power, may be the only good thing that he did.
Back then, the banks would loan the money for a wind power machine here and there were solar paybacks from the gov.

Sounds like time to ‘Overhaul’ County Gov’t.
‘Overhaul’ in my book is - strip out and discard the old broken parts that are causing the problem and replace them with new correctly working ones. Then use preventative maintenance - replace items on a timely basis before they have a chance to break down.(like term limits) :^)
