Numismatic value is a no-no IMHO unless you are a true collector and have survival bases covered.

I figured that, except for perhaps in the beginning of all the crap while people are learning about gold and silver. I thought I'd sell the ASEs on ebay - they're fetching $20 each and selling like crazy. Then I could get more generics and I guess some bars. EXCEPT that spot is now over $3 higher than when I last bought anything! The dollar must be taking a kicking.

Silver was $12 an ounce out on the NYMEX, just a week or two ago, now it is $14.

The dollar is tanking.

Heck, you're not going to get hurt whether you just hold them or sell them on ebay. I told my parents the same as I said before but they went ahead and bought 50% ASEs and 50% generic rounds. The main thing is just to get physical silver in your hot little hands !
