My children just laugh at me and complacently follow “the rules” like sheep. As long as life is good and they have decent jobs, they don’t seem to care. What happens when the SHTF?

That complacent attitude is representative of 90% of the people, I fear. My family is the same way. My mom and her husband are even more cowardly - I remember a few years ago, they were afraid to tell people they were Republicans (not because the Republicans were RINOs at that time, but because the people they were talking to were Dems.) I was so ashamed to be related to them.

The courage of our forefathers certainly doesn't run in todays generations' veins, does it?

And these are my chilldren-raised to be independent, while being good citizens!! They admire and respect me, but still voice no objection to government takeover of many of our rights. Sad.
